Deceleration Time

Configured time for the drive to ramp between defined high and low frequency reference points.

Plain English
Deceleration time is how long the drive takes to ramp down, usually from maximum to zero. Every decrease in the reference, including a ramp stop, is spread over it.
Example
A fan is set to a 60 second deceleration. Press stop and it takes a full minute to wind down, because a shorter ramp would regenerate more than the bus can absorb.
Why it matters
Deceleration is where energy comes back, so a short ramp on a heavy load means overvoltage trips or a braking resistor. Stall prevention stretches it silently, which is why the stop you programmed and the stop you get can differ.
