Run Mode
Controller state in which the enabled user program executes and outputs are controlled according to the project.
The Explain card
- Plain English
- Run mode is the controller executing its program and driving its outputs. Inputs are read, logic is solved, and the machine does what the program says.
- Example
- The key switch on the CPU is turned to run. The status light goes solid green, the scan starts, and the outputs come alive according to the logic.
- Why it matters
- Every mode change is a moment the machine can move. Going to run with a force set, a latched bit left on, or a fresh download whose initial values nobody checked is how motors start before anyone meant them to.

- The moment the program stops being a document and starts being a machine.
