Inverter-Duty Motor
Motor designed or rated to tolerate specified PWM voltage stress, thermal conditions, and operating-speed range.

- An inverter duty motor is built to live on a drive. Its insulation withstands the PWM voltage peaks, it can cool itself at low speed or has a separate blower, and it is rated for the speed range the drive will ask of it.
